Moving Forward, Self-Discipline and Mental Strength.

ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR WEAKNESSES
Whether it’s the chocolate bars while on a healthy nutrition plan or
checking your Facebook time line constantly when you’re supposed to be
studying, identify your weaknesses and eliminate them. In time you will
find yourself dropping these weaknesses once and for all.

ESTABLISH A CLEAR PLAN
The key to self discipline is having a clear path. No matter who you are in
order to have strong self discipline planning is a must, write it down and
clearly outline what it is you want to achieve and then go and do it
REMOVE THE TEMPTATIONS WHEN YOU CAN
Although at times we like to believe we have enough self discipline to resist
even the most tempting enticement, it only takes one moment of weakness
to cave. Notify your triggers for example if you have a friend who always
encourages you to break your healthy eating pattern why don’t you pick
the restaurant. By owning the situation you are in control.

VISUALIZE THE LONG TERM REWARDS
We have mentioned this many time through the last 8 weeks but start
thinking in terms of the long term and stop looking for miracles to happen
in 4-6 weeks. You can certainly get closer to your goals in these periods but
commit to having the self discipline to not stop until you reach your targets,
who knows how close you may have been to reaching your destination before you decided to quit.

BOUNCE BACK ON MISTAKES AND DON’T DWELL
Many of the greatest achievements of our time have all been met at some
stage with failures before they were a success. One thing to take with
you following optimum is to not be afraid to fail; the key is to continue
to move forward no matter what aspect of life you are dealing with work
or personal. Learn to let go of mistakes and refuse to carry them around
with you like a weight holding you down, free yourself mentally and move forward.
