The Context

PayPal’s Dublin site operates at the forefront of global business, with a workforce that collaborates across international time zones, particularly with the US. To support this dynamic team, the company provides a high-specification gym and wellness space designed to prioritize employee wellbeing.

Because PayPal embraces a flexible, modern working culture—with staff often balancing split shifts or non-traditional hours to connect with global colleagues—a standard "9-to-5" gym model wasn't the right fit. PayPal sought a partner who could look beyond the equipment and create a service model as agile and forward-thinking as their own workforce.

The goal was to ensure the facility felt accessible, inclusive, and energising for every employee, regardless of when their working day began or ended.


The Fitvision Approach

We approached this partnership with a focus on lifestyle integration. We understood that for PayPal’s team, wellness isn't just about a workout; it’s about energy management and work-life balance.

Rather than applying a rigid template, we designed a service delivery model that respects the unique flow of the PayPal office. Our role was to ensure that the wellness offering felt like a natural extension of the employee experience.

We implemented a fully managed, concierge-style service designed to support the staff's specific needs.


1. Lifestyle-Led Scheduling

We aligned our timetable with the natural energy peaks of the Dublin site. Understanding that many staff start their collaborative work later in the day to align with the US, we curated a schedule rich in morning and lunchtime options. By offering a blend of high-energy sessions and restorative movement, we provided a way for staff to boost their energy before their international shifts began, making the gym a supportive part of their daily routine.


2. Personalised Coaching Support

To add a layer of personal care, we introduced dedicated 1-to-1 coaching slots. These sessions allow employees to book private time with our fitness professionals for anything they need—whether it’s technical advice, nutritional chats, or simply a motivation boost. This personalised approach ensures that every employee feels seen and supported in their individual wellness journey.


3. A Unified Wellbeing Ecosystem

We believe wellness creates community. We worked closely with PayPal’s wider onsite partners, such as the catering team, to promote a holistic message of health. This has evolved into the "Stronger Together" initiative, highlighting internal ambassadors who help inspire their colleagues and keep the culture of wellbeing thriving.


The Experience

Since tailoring the service to the PayPal rhythm, the facility has flourished as a social and energetic hub.
